Disabled children get motherly love

Huang Xiangqiong has her meal with children at a welfare house in Nanping, Fujian province, on Oct 9, 2011. Huang has been a volunteer at the local welfare house since 2004, after retirement from her job as a college librarian in 2002. Huang teaches reading, writing, and some sports to disabled children. She lives in the welfare house and has no time to help her daughter take care of her 1-year-old grandson, because she feels that "the children of the welfare house need me more, I should offer mother-like love to them, for they are motherless".[Photo/Xinhua]
