A woman prepares banquet dishes for more than 1,000 elderly people to celebrate the Double Ninth Festival at a community in Nanchong city, Southwest China's Sichuan province, Oct 18, 2012. The Double Ninth Festival, also called Chongyang Festival, is observed on the 9th day of the 9th ninth lunar month and has been celebrated for thousands of years. The origins of the festival are disputed, but today the festival is held to pay respect to seniors.
