Liuzhou attracts more and more attention by many international and domestic aquatic sports events.

This May, celebrity invitational sailboat match was held in Liuzhou, and national motorboat league is underway. “Liuzhou has been held water sports events four times consecutively. The public know about Liuzhou by this brand.” said by Cao Bin, the director of administration of sports of Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Since 2008, many water sports events were held in Liuzhou, including motorboat, sailboat, water-skiing racing and high-altitude diving. Liuzhou International Water Carnival of 12 water sports was launched in 2011.

Approximately 60 billion Yuan were spent on environmental management and protection in Liuzhou. Now, Liuzhou is no more called acid rain city, but an industrial city with beautiful scenery and has the well environmental condition to hold water sports events.
