PTC ASIA 2013, which is jointly organized by China Hydraulics Pneumatics & Seals Association, China General Machine Components Industry Association, Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd, will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center on 28-31 October. As the top one event in Asia and the second largest one over the world in the field of power transmission and control, PTC ASIA 2013 represents a major breakthrough in its history with expanded influence.

The show will take up 10 halls and cover a record high area of 100,000 sqm. Over 1,650 exhibitors from home and abroad and more than 70,000 trade visitors are expected to participate in the show. Products and technology on energy-efficiency, including some world debuts will be the highlights of the show.

Famous brands to earn spotlight with debuts

The fact that exhibitors invest more year by year proves the increasing influence of PTC ASIA. This year, most large companies, including SEW, Siemens, Nord, Bosch Rexroth, HAWE and STAUFF, choose PTC ASIA as the platform for launching their new products. Since the industry pays more attention to improving energy efficiency and saving production cost, all of these business giants will present their innovative energy-efficient products and solutions.

SEW will bring their leading new products. The latest Siemens gear motor SIMOGEAR, which can be seamlessly integrated with the company's Fully Integrated Drive System, providing the optimum solution for more industry applications. Bosch Rexroth's Rexroth 4EE, a series of energy efficient ideas and solutions, can achieve the balance between production efficiency and energy utilization. HAWE's KA pumping station, specially designed for machine tool, features automatic start-stop of hydraulic power to reach the best working performance.

Continued growth and a superb line-up of exhibitors

China's construction machinery industry remains in the doldrums in the first half of 2013, but it does not affect the confidence of companies in seeking a turnaround. The increase of investment in PTC ASIA has been the consensus in the industry. Both sectors of mechanical power transmission and fluid power transmission grow in terms of space and exhibits with more leading brands.

The display area for mechanical power transmission exceeds 22,000 sqm. SEW, Siemens, Nord, Lenze and Bonfiglioli all expand their booths to compete with each other in gear and reducer zone. The participation of gear manufacturer EMAG enriches the presentation in the exhibition area and helps expose visitors to a complete industry chain. Bearing area includes the leading companies like SKF, NSK, JTEKT and Emerson. German manufacturer WAFIOS brings their world leading wire and pipe process technology and it is the first time that the company joins the spring and fastener area. The exhibition area of spring and fastener exceeds 2,600 sqm. And it will be held in the same exhibition hall with LIFT SHANGHAI of CeMAT ASIA 2013 and Industrial Supply ASIA to showcase a complete industry chain by complementing the mainframe products. PTC ASIA also founds a consortium consisting of China's motor parts companies with Shanghai Society for Electrical Engineering.

In fluid transmission sector, besides the key companies like Bosch Rexroth, HAWE, HYDAC, STAUFF, HANSA-FLEX, CAMOZZI, Parker Hannifin, Kawasaki, Huade, Sunbun, HIGH-TECH FLUID POWER, Liming, Yuci, Hengli, Zhongchuan and TAIFENG, countries and regions including Germany, Italy, UK, France, the United States, Turkey, India, Japan, South Korea and China Taiwan all participate in the form of pavilions. The total exhibition area exceeds 60,000sqm. In particular, the Fenghua Exhibition Group consisting of the companies from Fenghua Pneumatic Industry Base has an area of 6,000 sqm in pneumatic exhibition zone. As the machinery engineering industry recovers, PTC ASIA will gives companies a boost as an efficient platform for business communication.

The high and new technology exhibition area in PTC ASIA 2013 will also highlight the show. 10 prestigious universities including Zhejiang University, Harbin Institute of Technology and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics will participate with their independently developed new technology. The area will also set booth navigation marks for prize-winning new technologies, products, technical processes and materials, and organize nearly 20 high-tech seminars where experts will introduce the latest technology information concerning fluid power transmission and control technology in the world.

Upgraded ComVac ASIA 2013

Compressed air, one of the three major sectors of PTC ASIA, is upgraded to ComVac ASIA 2013 this year. With the approval of the board of Deutsche Messe AG, the show has become a global show of ComVac, which is one of the sub-shows under HANNOVER MESSE. This move echoes the rising position of compressed air and vacuum technology. "The new ComVac ASIA also improves the categories of our company's trade fairs," said Mr. Wolfgang Pech, Senior Vice President of Deutsche Messe AG. Leading companies in this field include KAESER, Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, BOGE, Fengli, BEKO, Fusheng and Kaishan actively participate in the show. The total exhibition area reaches 10,000sqm.

To maximize the value of the show, the organizer of PTC ASIA plans a wide range of activities such as group visit, technical forums, purchase negotiation and buyers matchmaking regarding five major application industries (machine casting, automobile manufacturing, oil machinery, plastics industry and food industry) in accordance with national policies and industrial trends.
