Planning and form innovations of 2014 COEE

Co-sponsored by the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and the State Oceanic Administration, the 2014 China Ocean Economy Expo (COEE) will be held from Dec 3-7 in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. It is a significant government sponsored event in Guangdong province in 2014.

The 2014 COEE will be different from its traditional model and innovatively use the government-leading, market oriented and demutualization operated mode and organizational form. The two innovative points are reflected in exhibition planning and form.

To fully display the latest achievements of the current international ocean industrial development and highlight the influence of economic and trade cooperation and industrial forums, the 2014 COEE is arranging the exhibition areas in accordance with the relevance of industries and activities and is designing the “three axes and one line” exhibition layout according to local conditions. With the left Chinese Axis acting as an exhibition core, the middle Zhanjiang Axis as a leisure core and the right International Axis as an experience core, the exhibition arrangement gives full play to the geographical advantage of the exhibition hall and its surrounding coastal area.

The 2014 COEE will create a multi-layered stereoscopic exhibition integrating sea, land and air spaces. It will use both indoor and outdoor areas for displays and its coastal advantage will also be used. The beach, wharf and warship in this COEE will make it different from the previous ones.
