Background: Shanghai International Intellectual Property Forum is an annual grand event entrusted by Shanghai Municipal People’s Government and the State IP Office of P. R. China. The Forum was first launched in the year 2003. Since then the Forum has established itself as one of the principal IP events in China for high-level international communication to study and share best practices and policies for key IP issues both home and abroad. It aims to provide an interactive platform for government agencies, research institutions, legal bodies and industries through academic exchange, experience sharing, reasoning & discussion.
