The China-Europe Chang'an freight train departed Xi'an Port in Xi'an International Trade and Logistics (ITL) Park to Hamburg, Germany on Feb 5, Lunar New Year's Day.
Operated by Xi'an Lugang Group Multimodal Transport Co, it was the first China-Europe freight train of the 2019 Lunar New Year, and was loaded with 41 containers.

The goods included mechanical equipment and accessories, air purifiers, clothing, and electronic equipment. About 80 percent of the supply came from the Yangtze River Delta region, Tianjin, Shandong, and other places, while local sources accounted for 20 percent, mainly including mechanical equipment and LCD (liquid crystal display) screens.
After departing from Xi'an, the freight train left the country through the Alataw Pass in Xinjiang, and arrived in Malaszewicze, Poland via Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, and other countries.
It will finally arrive in Hamburg, Germany after goods are allocated for distribution in Malaszewicze, Poland. The whole journey is 9,440 kilometers, and the planned running time is about 16 days.
During Lunar New Year's Day, a total of 12 columns of the China-Europe Chang'an freight train left for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to transport goods, such as clothing, furniture and home appliances, compressors, and polyester chips.

As the only inland port in China that has obtained international and domestic double codes, Xi'an Port leads the operation of China-Europe Chang'an freight train, due to its high quality development.
Sun Yimin, director of the management committee of the Xi'an ITL Park, said that the Chang'an freight train will continue to insist on high-quality and market-oriented operations, aiming to make Xi'an the assembly center of West China.
