The beta version of the English website of BDA(Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area) in Beijing Etown launched with the assistance of China Daily on Oct 20 in Beijing amid efforts to build an international communication platform.

The website has dramatically optimized content structure and layout, adopting new technology to attract foreign readers.

The website is integrated with international and interactive elements to follow the latest Internet trends. It has set up six major sections: About BDA, News Center, Industries, Investment, Companies and Living. It also features several secondary sections that provide important information. Industries and Companies is the most important section. It displays the eight essential industries, eight industrial clusters and companies in BDA.

Constructed in 1992, the Beijing Economic Technological Development Area was approved by the State Council as the only national economic technological development area in Beijing on August 25, 1994. "Beijing Etown" has become a high-end brand with international influence.
