Jingdong and Aisino recently signed a letter of intent to establish a joint venture for internet tax administration. The move will play a crucial role in the national action plan on internet plus, experts said.

The State Council has published opinions on using big data to strengthen market service and supervision. As a trailblazer in e-invoice application, Jingdong will offer its experience, while Aisino will offer its technology and research capacity. Both parties will popularize e-invoices in all social sectors. They will enhance new ideas in taxpayer service and management, give incentives to market players and develop taxation integrity and social credit systems.

The two companies have devoted themselves to popularizing of e-invoice applications in e-commerce. Jingdong has issued nearly 150 million e-invoices by the end of July, with more than 40 billion yuan in value. E-invoices have played a significant role in raising efficiency and lowering operational costs.
