Ice lanterns have been mounted around the St. Sofia Church Plaza in "ice city" Harbin, capital of China's far north Heilongjiang Province on Saturday, December 13, 2003. The 20th China Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival, an annual tourism event scheduled from late December to next February, is expected to attract tens of thousands of domestic and overseas tourists with a series of shows on ice lanterns, ice sculptures and snow sculptures.
