Rihanna said she is ready to find love again – but will always put her career first.

Rihanna is ready to find love again.

The ‘Russian Roulette' singer said she is presently single, but ready for romance, after getting over the vicious assault on her by then boyfriend Chris Brown in February.

She said: "Dating would be fun. But it's a lot of commitment, so I don't want a serious relationship.

"I'm linked to so many men it's ridiculous. I am single. And I would put love on the side for what I do, because it means so much to me."

Rihanna also talked about how going into the recording studio helped her get over the assault by Brown, who now has to stay at least 100 yards away from her for the next five years, following the attack after a pre-Grammy Awards party.

In September, Brown also started 180 days of community labour, 12 months of domestic violence counselling and five years probation.

Rihanna said: "Initially I didn't want to let my guard down and let people in.

"Then I recorded a song about revenge - wanting to put someone through what they've put you through so they can finally understand why you can't forgive them."
