          Bilingual love musical

          Musical Cho Cho is a Chinese-English bilingual version, a modern adaptation from Puccini's opera Madame Butterfly. It's co-produced by the Arts Center Melbourne and the National Theater of China, starring both top-notch Australian and Chinese performers. It tells a story of a 15-year-old Chinese girl named Butterfly who fell in love with an American captain but ended up in suicide.

          Orchestra concert

          Chicago Symphony Orchestra is known for its brass music and skills of wind and string. It brings a series of classical music, including Dvorak's Symphony No 5 and selection from Stravinsky's Fairy's Kiss. The conductor Riccardo Muti has cooperated with many world-renowned orchestras and won two Grammy awards for his debut recording with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.

          Impressionist art

          Beijing Art Museum is displaying 166 works by more than 70 world-known impressionist artists, including Edouard Manet, Jean-Francois Millet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Exhibits covers Millet's The Sewer, Manet's A Bar at the Folies-Bergere and Olympia. The works unfold the evolution and development of modern prints in the West between late 19th century and 20th century.

          Ming Dynasty troves

          An exhibition titled Back to Ming Dynasty is underway at the underground exhibition hall at Suzhou Museum. It presents 108 pieces from the collection of Capital Museum of Beijing. From ceramic to jade, coins and library utensils, the exhibition takes audiences back to the era of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

          Minyuan Art and Zendai Group jointly present an exhibition titled The Way Home. The show features more than 40 artists who have all lived or studied abroad.           Gdots Art Space and JMSytle present an exhibition featuring two accomplished French graffiti artists in a customized setting decorated with contemporary furnishings and accessories. Both Kongo and Ceet's works feature bold colors and strong graphic lines for an immediate assault upon the senses. While Kongo makes clever use of negative spaces interspersed with white highlights, Ceet employs airbrush techniques for layered compositions that provoke and intrigue.

          Cartoon man

          SCAD brings comic book artist Pat Lee to Hong Kong in a one-night-only lecture for eager fans. Titled Telling the Story: A Day in the Life of Comic Book Artist Pat Lee, the creative director delves into his particular hybrid anime drawing style and how it has influenced the explosive superhero industry in North America. Lee previously worked with Marvel and DC on franchises including Batman, Superman, Iron Man and X-Men.

          Fight night

          Shaolin Temple brings the grace and agility of 32 warrior monks from Henan province's Songshan Mountain. The show promises to be a whirlwind of bare-handed and weapon-enhanced movements that combine kung fu and qigong (Chinese breathing exercise). Through highly skilled acrobatic feats, the young disciples, ranging from 9 to 20 years old, showcase their strength and agility.
