"I'm fully confident in China's economic prospects. Everything is within expectations and a slowdown was a result of proactive adjustment."

President Xi Jinping said China will continue its reform despite entering what he described as a vital and difficult stage.

"The right to appeal is under strict protection in China. But the second-instance court ruling will be the final judgment for him."
