The Color Palette Landscape of Dongchuan, Yunnan

Some 250 kilometers northeast of Kunming, the capital of China's Yunnan Province, spread vast terraced fields comprising the Dongchuan scenic area. Rich in metallic minerals such as alumina and iron, the soil in Dongchuan is an unusual brownish-red color.
