The skyline is the contour outline of buildings seen against the sky, and it represents a city’s overall landscape structure, along with its scale and landmarks. With China’s economic boom in recent years, many skyscrapers of both architectural and cultural value have sprung up in the capital, which symbolize not only the country’s rise as a super economic power, but also its taste in modern architectural styles.
