Sheraton Shanghai Hongkou Hotel is presenting two wedding banquet packages. There is the classic 6,888 yuan per table available from now to August and the 7,088 yuan per table from September to December. The Opposite House, Beijing, is hosting an exhibition featuring the works of artist Ma Han. Ma's works are reminders that the capital city's traditions are deteriorating and that historical cultures and memories may be lost in the process of modernization. Peter Wynne, area general manager of Swire Hotels, which runs The Opposite House, Beijing, says the exhibition not only complements the hotel space, but also gives its audience food for thought.
