Pingtan Island. The photo shows the main attraction of Pingtan Island in East China's Fujian province - Shi Pai Yang, two granite spherical sea-wind-eroded rocks, standing 9m and 33m in height, June 21, 2012. Tourists are attracted by this spectacular and magnificent reef, which is 10 minutes away by boat from Aocun village. The beach is not fully developed and is quiet and relaxing during the summer. The island gets cold and very windy in winter, and that's when the windsurfers and kite surfers arrive. [Photo/IC] |
