An APEC emblem-shaped light is turned on at an intersection in the Chaoyang district of Beijing, China's capital on Wednesday evening, October 29, 2014. The emblem of the 2014 APEC meeting consists of 21 colored lines, which not only traces out the outline of the globe, but also the Temple of Heaven (Tiantan), a location for ritual ceremonies in ancient times.
