Extreme cold brings unique wintry scene to Mount Huangshan

Rare, frigid temperatures and severe weather are taking their toll in many areas of China, but also creating spectacular winter vistas. The Mount Huang scenic area in Anhui province witnessed a record low temperature of minus 24C on Sunday, the lowest noted there this winter.The crystal clear rime scenery that has wrapped the area like a silvery white blanket has managed to attract tourists to rush to the scenic spot to enjoy the rare view and take photos or videos to record the unique wintry scene.[Photo by Shi Yalei/Asianewsphoto]
