A flock of white cranes forage along Poyang Lake in East China's Jiangxi province, Jan 9, 2017. It's now the dry season, so a wider area of the beach is exposed and a large number of water plants are floating on the lake's surface. These conditions, combined with a pleasant climate plus a great diversity of plant species, make this place a heaven for migratory birds.
