The Red Cross Society of China's branch in Central China's Hubei province refused an organ donation request from a leukemia patient.
Zhang Qi, 22, told the local Chutian Gold Daily that he wanted to donate his organs because he had received help from so many people. However, the local Red Cross branch refused him because he could not even make it to the office to fill out the form.
