Drawings to help WeChat users
A series of hand-drawn illustrations guiding parents on how to use WeChat recently spread on the Internet. The nine-page illustration was drawn by 26-year-old Zhang Ming, who works in Beijing. He said he had the idea of making the drawings because he wanted to talk to his parents, who live in his hometown Chongqing. He cannot be with them for most of the year, so he hopes they can talk more on WeChat. The man bought two smartphones for his parents when he was back home during Spring Festival, hoping that could help them communicate more. But after 12 days at home, his parents were still not very familiar with the WeChat functions, Chongqing Evening News reported.

Young woman caught selling sons
A woman in her early 20s was caught by police at an Internet cafe in Hengyang, Hunan province, for selling three of her sons. The woman, surnamed Zhang, has sold three kids since 2008, with the help of the kids' father, Wang.
Zhang said they had their first baby in 2007, and the second in 2008. Because they were poor, they sold their second child, a boy, to a local couple for 6,000 yuan. They had their third boy in 2009, and sold him to a 60-year-old couple for 20,0000 yuan. They had their fifth boy in 2012 and sold him three months later for 10,000 yuan. The young couple's family was aware of them selling the babies, and reported them to the police, according to Xiaoxiang Morning Post.

Couples in Beijing get incentive to have one child
The Beijing Health and Family Planning Commission revealed on Tuesday detailed rules and regulations for having a second child. According to the regulation, each couple will get at least 1000 yuan as an incentive if they give up the right to have a second child.
Many couples came to the city's family planning office inquiring about details of having a second child. The family planning office in Jianguomen district is ready to receive second child applications, and the office in Xicheng district will start receiving second child applications on Monday, Beijing Youth Daily reported.

Li Yue, president of China Mobile Communication Corp (CMCC), said he is positive about the future development of Time Division-Long Term Evolution (TD-LTE) 4G technology. During the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Monday, he said that the company will work to bring TD-LTE speed to maximum levels of 400Mpbs, and will build more than 500,000 TD-LTE base stations. He also said that the company will help control the price of 4G mobile phones to about $100.

Xie Xianmei, of Dazhou, Sichuan province, is searching for her biological parents 23 years after she was taken away from them, Beijing Youth Daily reported.
The girl was born in a village in Dazhou, but was taken away by local family planning department staffers in the early 1990s because her parents violated the family planning policy by having her.
Xie was sent to a 40-year-old couple, also in Dazhou, who raised her all these years. She has been working in the city as a migrant worker in recent years. When she returned home for Spring Festival this year, she felt the strong desire to find her biological parents, and reached out to local media for help. The man, surnamed Li, who sent Xie to her foster parents 23 years ago, is also helping Xie find her biological parents and already found a strong lead. They are waiting for DNA results.

The price of housing has reportedly slumped in many cities, including Hangzhou, Changzhou and Xiangyang, Hubei province as well as Hong Kong prompting rumors that costs across the country are set to fall.
