Contrite thief returns bag with written apology
A thief made away with the cash from a bag he stole and returned the bag with the rest of its contents and a written apology in Changchun city, Jilin province, reported enews.xwh.cn on Friday.
The apology was written on the owner's business card, reading, "I'm sorry for my horrible action and I don't know what else I can do. Please believe me I will definitely return your money. Don't change your phone number then I can contact you. I need some time."
On the other side of the card, he left the words, "Please return this bag to the owner" and left the bag by the side of the street. A passerby called the owner.
The owner has mixed feelings upon receiving the bag.
