Every website has a "Contact Us" page for readers who need to contact the organization. But the "Contact Us" page of the Bureau of Civil Affairs in Jiangyang district, Luzhou city seems to have made that especially difficult.
On the "Contact Us" page of its official website, the telephone hotline and contact email are listed as "0830-xxxxxx" and xxxxxx@163.xxx respectively. This cryptic information have left web users perplexed. A netizen left a comment saying, "OK, so how should I dial it?"
The Bureau is not alone. Several governmental websites of Jiangyang district also had fake "Contact Us" pages, which sent readers back to the home page when clicked.
