Student holds unconscious old lady for one hour in the cold

A young man in Shanghai spent about an hour holding and caring for a collapsed elderly lady in a bus station on Friday, Shanghai TV reported on Saturday.

When the elderly lady collapsed, the young man in his twenties held the lady up in his arms until the ambulance came. He then helped the lady onto a stretcher and left the scene.

After receiving treatment, the lady tried to find the man who had helped her.

The man turned out to be a university student surnamed Mao.

"My mom is not in good health. It is natural to care for other old people just like our own parents," Mao said.
