Firefighters usually face an unknown situation when they rush to a scene, but this time they knew everything would end well beforehand, reported cqwb.com.cn on Saturday.

Two men created a suicide ruse to gain public attention and sympathy for their failed business endeavors. One man pretended to jump off a building to commit suicide while the other called the police.

Everything was going well until the second man accidently called the authorities again. Thinking he had called his partner on the roof, the man unknowingly revealed the plot to the police.

Despite the plot being unexpectedly exposed, firefighters still rushed to the site to get the man off the edge.

The man has been punished for intended public disturbance.
