Moving around the country, literally
76-year-old Han Shigui purchased a 1.2 million yuan ($200,000) recreational vehicle (RV) with his wife to continue their tour around the country, a tour they started in 2003, Gdyfs.com reported on Sunday.
"The RV is our home and we can always bring our home with us on the journey," said Han's wife Shi Shuzhi.
Han says that he has lived in more than 50 different locations across China and that he is looking for villages where people live a long life. He says his favorite city is the tourist city of Sanya in Hainan province.
"I like Sanya because the people there are very nice. They give us some land for free and we grow vegetables on it,"
said Han.
