Tortoise falls out of the sky in Shandong

You might wish for money to fall out of the sky, but a villager in Liaocheng, Shandong province saw a tortoise fall out of the sky instead, dfic reported on Wednesday.

The tortoise dropped in unexpectedly when the villager, surnamed Fu, was sitting in front of his house, watching the heavy rain and hail. He thought it was just a leaf at first but discovered it was a tortoise when it started moving slowly.

Fu said he's never seen a tortoise fall out of the sky before and hopes the experts could explain the strange phenomenon.

The tortoise has now been put in a basin by Fu and his wife.
