Ismail Tiliwaldi: Any attempts to sabotage are doomed to failure

Vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Ismail Tiliwaldi, says any attempts to sabotage ethnic unity and split the country are doomed to failure.

Ismail Tiliwaldi said, "I was really shocked and furious. This was the worst, the most vile and destructive incident in Xinjiang since the establishment of our country. Its ultimate goal is to split Xinjiang from our country, which people of every ethnic group in the autonomous region will never accept. Xinjiang's future will be good. I'm fully confident about faster growth, and a more united and more stable Xinjiang."
