The Water Cube that hosted the 2008 World Olympic Games this week became a giant water park. There are new exhibits, too, and yet another swimming pool for those who want to keep cool this summer in Beijing. When it comes to water parks, what will they think of next?

Getting fit

Beijing is ready to shape up with the return of radio exercise shows. The Beijing Federation of Trade Unions proposes that employees at all state-owned enterprises begin a daily exercise routine by tuning into radio broadcast exercise shows. Sure, that means that people will begin to muscle up. But what about our overweight pets? For the latest in pet exercise trends, we turn to our senior cat and dog health and fitness expert Dr. Chris Clark.

This summer's best tour guides

Some of this summer's best tour guides are in Shanghai at the 2010 World Expo. There's so much to see, and so much to do. So let's go Expo! What's amazing about these tour guides is that they are volunteers from all over China. You can see them in their blue jackets inside and outside the Expo. Of course, not every tour guide is as smart and helpful as the volunteers at the 2010 World Expo. In fact, some are just awful. They take you to the wrong places. And they don't know anything about China's splendid history or China's world-famous tourist attractions. The Week goes undercover to show you the worst tour guide in Beijing.
