TCM registration lacking in EU

Huang Jianyin, Vice-Secretary-General, World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies:

"First of all, the most affected are the retailers of TCM products. As the ban takes effect, many TCM pharmacies will have to be closed, which may cause some unemployment. However, now in the UK, another law is about to be issued that allows registered TCM doctors to prescribe unregistered Chinese medicines. But the medications still cannot be sold in drugstores, except for those already for sale before the ban was implemented."
