"As for the Western public, one assumption is that they find the bitter taste of Chinese medicines hard to accept. But according to my observation, it is a different story. In Germany, there is a TCM hospital that celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. This hospital provides 83 beds, and all patients there are treated with purely TCM methods, such as drinking liquid herbal medicine. The hospital is very popular among the patients that one must line up for a while to get treatment. This hospital is also registered with the German medi-care insurance system, specially approved by the German government. "
