The 2012 London Games has official sponsors like McDonald's, but London's streets outside the Games have plenty of food to tempt visitors.
The capital boasts some 160 street markets - as well as thousands of stalls selling food inspired by recipes from around the globe.
One of the capital's most famous markets is the covered Borough Market near London Bridge on the South Bank.
On the other side of the river in Bohemian Camden Town is another market – one with a much more cosmopolitan flavor.
