Wukesong Fair

As the Spring Festival approaches, Wukesong Fair, a popular fair in Beijing's Haidian district, has brought together more than 450 manufacturers from all over the country to sell nianhuo, or items to celebrate the annual festival. At the entrance of the fair, there are traditional Spring Festival paintings that have classical auspicious elements, such as monkey and fish, which are from very famous maker Yangliuqing, based in Tianjin. In the fair there are also various Chinese knots, traditional lanterns, paintings of door gods, couplets, window grilles, paper cutting and other traditional Spring Festival decorations, apart from clothes and signature foods from all parts of the country for people to choose from. The fair has been held once a month since six years ago, and has a good reputation for goods of low price and high quality.

Chinese New Year's Eve party
