Filmed in the aqua blue waters of a Caribbean reef in the Bahamas, Italian shark expert Cristina Zenato, 42, is seen beckoning the shark before gently patting it like a lap dog. Having spent 20 years swimming with sharks, Zenato has developed a deep bond with the often misunderstood creatures, showing a side to the sharks that has rarely been seen before. By wearing a chain mail suit, the highly experienced handler is able to enter a calm and tranquil state of mind, allowing the sharks to swim freely around her body. After carefully selecting the right shark for the encounter, the diving expert then gently rubs the snout of the shark, rendering it seemingly harmless. [Photo/IC] |
