Xi's visits before Spring Festival

Xi shook hands with villagers at Bulenggou village of Dongxiang autonomous county on Feb 3. He inspected a reconstruction site in the county, which was the scene of ground fissure and subsidence following a landslide in March 2011.
During meetings with farmers-turned-workers, he said contribution and commitment of the migrant workers means much for China's efforts to complete building a moderately prosperous society.
Xi called for more care of migrant workers and further efforts to guard their legitimate rights and interests. He said, "Migrant workers especially should not be cheated of wages."
