Xi's visits before Spring Festival

President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, shakes hands with senior military officers stationed in Jiangxi on Feb 2, 2016.
Xi extended holiday greetings to all military personnel. Stressing the commitment to build a strong army, Xi called on all military units to promote political faithfulness, reforms and rule of law among China's armed forces.
