CFA announces cap on spending

The Chinese Football Association announced on Thursday to cap the gross expenditure of the league for next three years and salaries and bonuses of players.
The gross fees of the league were capped at 1.2 billion yuan ($174 million), 1.1 billion yuan and 900 million yuan, respectively.
Domestic players will make no more than pre-tax 10 million annually with a 20 percent promotion for those serving national duty such as the Asian Cup and World Cup qualifiers.
