Xi busy meeting world leaders

PRESIDENT XI JINPING:

- China is willing to continue to advance cooperation with Tunisia in the fields of healthcare, infrastructure and high technology, and expand human resources, sub-national and people-to-people exchanges. It encourages Chinese firms to invest and do business in Tunisia and welcomes exports of its products to China.

- China firmly supports Tunisia in pursuing a development path suited to its national conditions, and opposes external interference in Tunisia's internal affairs.

- China appreciates Tunisia attaching great importance to cooperation between China and Arab states as well as that between China and Africa, and stands ready to work with Tunisia to consolidate and intensify bilateral friendly relations.

TUNISIAN PRESIDENT KAIS SAIED:

- China always stands on the side of international fairness and justice and the Global Development Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping is greatly relevant to raising the capacity of developing countries and promoting countries' common development and progress.

- Under the current international situation, no country can develop on its own, and all countries should respect each other and pursue a cooperative, mutually beneficial and win-win approach and jointly resolve global problems through close cooperation.
