International film crews explore Beijing's Shougang Park
The Skywalk connects to the Yongding River Riverside Leisure Park. Its main structure is a linear-elevated walkway, 7-14 meters above the ground, with a main line width of 4 meters and a secondary line width of 2.5 meters, transformed from elevated industrial corridors and passage systems. Combined with slow-moving paths, fitness tracks, leisure areas, and landscape greenery, the Skywalk offers citizens and tourists an integrated space for sightseeing, relaxation, and exercising. Yu Hua, design director of Beijing Shougang Construction Investment, explained that the Skywalk provides different levels of experience while preserving industrial features and emphasizes a green, sustainable design concept by fully utilizing existing industrial heritage resources.
