The Great Canal extends to a total length of 1794km. It's the longest and oldest canal in the world and was listed in the World Culture Heritage catalogue in 2014.
The museum of the Great Canal offers an introduction to the history and culture of the canal. The Live Exhibition Center of Handicraft,displaying Chinese traditional handicrafts, offers the vistors the opportunity to learn Chinese traditional handicraft and intangible cultural heritage.
