The anticipation of continuous appreciation of Chinese currency attracted a huge amount of money from international speculators. This round of yuan devaluation sends a clear signal to the international speculators that the appreciation of the yuan is not a guarantee and a more liberal and market oriented valuation system of yuan is emerging.
