Cultural exchanges start early
Argentina is one of the countries in South America that started cultural exchanges early with new China. In the 1950’s and 60’s, China and Argentina had more than 30 mutual visits involving various artistic exchanges. The exhibition of paintings by Chinese famous painter Qi Baishi held in 1953 was just one of them.
