Walking along a 'water' highway on Poyang Lake

The water level of China's largest freshwater lake has risen to an alarming two-month high earlier than expected, as more rainfall than usual has hit the region since the start of this year. The 5-kilometer-long Dahuchi water highway is a natural attraction to fishing and outdoors enthusiasts as it passes through the lake's natural reserve, where some 700,000 migratory birds spend the long winter.
