The procedures of establishing Sino-foreign cooperative joint ventures in China

Foreign enterprises and other economic organizations or individuals, in cooperation with Chinese enterprises or other economic organizations in China to establish foreign cooperation operating enterprise according to principles of equality and reciprocity, shall report agreements, contracts, articles, and files signed by Sino-foreign cooperative joint venture to foreign economic trade department of State Council or local government authorized by State, get inspected and approved, and apply for registration to business administration organ within 30 days after receiving instruments of ratification, and get business license. Cooperative enterprises which meet with China's laws regarding to legal representative, can achieve the status of Chinese legal representative.
