Equipment manufacturing industrial park

With an area of 7,500 mu (500 hectares), the equipment manufacturing industrial park is a provincial industrial park approved by the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission. It was awarded by the municipal government as “Characteristic Industrial Base of New Industrialization” in September in 2012. The park is mainly engaged in industries including port machinery, marine engineering equipment and accessory products, special ships, and ship engines and accessory products. Leading enterprises such as Zhenhua Heavy Equipment and Wison Heavy Industry are present in the park.
