Nantong XingChen Synthetic Material Co Ltd is subordinate to China National Bluestar Group. As a company formerly directly affiliated to the Ministry of Chemical Industry, Nantong XingChen Synthetic Material. has registered capital of 800 million yuan. It is mainly engaged in research and development, production and sale of new chemical materials including PBT resin, bisphenol A, epoxy resin, modified engineering plastics, color agent etc.

The company has one engineering center, five workshops and eight administration offices. After receiving certification for ISO9001, ISO14001 and GB/T28001, namely, the "three integrated certification" of quality, environment and occupational health. The company has all data recorded in the ERP system.

At present, there are 601 staff, including 261 technical workers with special technique qualifications or above, accounting for 43.4 percent of its workforce. There are 11 postgraduates, 127 with bachelor's degrees and 123 with special technique qualifications. The company has a group of professional technical personnel, who closely follow frontier disciplines and specialize in research and development of new chemical materials such as engineering plastics and bisphenol A. Among them, five employees have been awarded as "Middle-aged or Young Expert in Science and Technology of Bluestar Group", and three won special allowances from the State Council. 72 workers have been engaged in research and development, accounting for 12.43 percent of the total number of employees.

The company has equipment with specifications of 60,000 tons per year for PBT, 90,000 tons per year for bisphenol A, 50,000 tons per year for epoxy resin and 30,000 tons per year for modified engineering plastics. Annual sales in the past three years have reached 501.95 million yuan, 867.43 million yuan and 2288.33 million yuan respectively.

The company produces varieties of epoxy resins with a capacity of 35,000 tons per year. At the same time, in the second phase of project planning, the company is striving to build itself as a new material industry base with first-class facilities, outstanding talents and cost-effective benefits as well as an output of over 5 billion yuan over a short period.
