Tianjin Binhai China-America Aerospace Industry Cooperation Forum, hosted jointly by Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone and the Municipal Foreign Investment Service Center, was held in the airport industrial park yesterday. In the evening of May 6, the Deputy Mayor Ren Xuefeng met the representatives attending the forum.

The forum has invited 16 senior officers from 10 major member enterprises of America General Aviation Association. Principals from the departments and institutes including National Development and Reform Commission, CAAC, AVIC, and AVIC Helicopter Co., Ltd. will present China’s policies for the general aviation industry and the fields of future cooperation.

Ren Xuefeng said at the meeting, the aviation industry cluster effects become initially shaped due to the launching of Airbus A320 general assembly and national civil aviation technological industrialization base, and the settling of a group of aviation enterprises and aircraft parts& components manufacturers in the airport industrial park. We hope this forum will provide precious advices to the expanding and strengthening of the aviation industry in Tianjin.
