The China Development Forum 2013, with the theme "China: Deepening Reform and Opening-up for a Well-off Society", took place in Beijing on March 23 -25.

Sponsored by the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), the 12th China Development Forum, with the theme “The Ongoing Transformation of China’s Growth Pattern”, was held on March 20 and 21, 2011, at Beijing's Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.

The China Development Forum 2010, themed “China and the World Economy: Growth, Restructuring and Cooperation”, was held at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.

The China Development Forum 2009, themed “China's Development and Reform in the Global Financial Crisis”, was held on March 22-23 at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.

The ninth annual session of the China Development Forum, themed “China towards 2020: Development Goals and Policy Options”, was held on March 23-24, in Beijing’s Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.

The China Development Forum 2007, themed “China: Towards New Models of Economic Growth”, was successfully held in Beijing on March 17-19.

The China Development Forum 2006 was held at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing on March 18-20, 2006.
