Pingnan National Junior Boxing Championship

Pingnan county, in the city of Ningde, Fujian province, is playing host to a National Junior Boxing Championship, the Baishuiyang Yuanyangxi Cup, which started on July 25, with 256 boxers from various teams across the country taking part.

It has 12 levels for males, and 11 for females and is expected to last 30 days. Hosts of the competition are China’s General Sports Administration, Fujian province sports administration, Fujian heavy athletic sports management center, Ningde sports administration, and the government of Pingnan (county). There are several bouts in the elimination system.
